Payroll Administrator at BairesDev

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. This role requires a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll on a [bi-weekly/monthly] basis, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update payroll records, including hours worked, leave balances, and other relevant data.

  • Compliance: Ensure payroll practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws and employment standards.

  • Employee Inquiries: Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, including paychecks, deductions, and benefits.

  • Reporting: Prepare and generate payroll reports for internal and external use, including tax filings, audits, and financial analysis.

  • System Management: Utilize payroll software to enter data, generate paychecks, and maintain records. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed.

  • Coordination: Collaborate with HR to manage employee status changes, benefits, and deductions that impact payroll.

  • Reconciliation: Verify payroll data against financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and ensure data security.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a solid understanding of payroll practices and systems.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and management.
